Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA) is proud to announce transit service to and from the great Minnesota get together for only $6, less than a bucket of Sweet Martha’s Cookies. MVTA will be running service every day of the Minnesota State Fair Aug. 21 to Sept. 1 from Burnsville Transit Station, 100 East Hwy. 13, Eagan Transit Station, 3470 Pilot Knob Road, and Southbridge Park and Ride, 1400 Crossings Blvd., Shakopee.
Expanded service for 2025 includes trips to the fair running every 15-20 minutes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (5 p.m. on Labor Day) at all locations, plenty of time to grab a pronto pup, spin yourself silly on the Tilt-a-Whirl, and still catch a peek at the crop art and the butter sculptures. Return service is the same from noon to 11:30 p.m. (9:30 on Labor Day), giving you all day and most of the night to enjoy every last moment of State Fair fun.
New this year, MVTA will be on site at the fair in the Eco-Experience building every day of the fair to display our e-Jest electric vehicle that is currently being used for our MVTA Connect service (mvta.com/Connect/). Staff will be on site to show off the vehicle and answer any questions. Visit mvta.com/statefair/ for more information.
